Directions: > from Midtown Manhattan > from Lower Manhattan > from Northern New York or The Bronx > from New Jersey or South > from Eastern Long Island From Midtown Manhattan: Take the Midtown Tunnel (12' 6" max.) to the Long Island Expressway (495) East. Take exit 19. Exit at Queens Blvd., and turn left at the traffic light. After making the left, proceed through the first traffic light. There will be an entrance off of the left lane into the main road of Queens Blvd. Enter onto the main road. Proceed through 6 traffic lights on Queens Blvd. Exit to the left at the 6th traffic light - "51st Avenue / Hillyer Street" and proceed straight onto 51st Avenue. Darik is located one-half mile down on the right side at the corner of 72nd street. (The total distance from the 495 exit is 1.5 miles) From Lower Manhattan: Take either the Manhattan Bridge or the Williamsburg Bridge to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (278) East. Proceed approximately 8 miles to the Long Island Expressway (495) East. Take exit 19. Exit at Queens Blvd., and turn left at the traffic light. After making left, proceed through the first traffic light. There will be an entrance off of the left lane into the main road of Queens Blvd. Enter onto the main road. Exit to the left at the 6th traffic light - "51st Avenue / Hillyer Street" and proceed straight onto 51st Avenue. Darik is located one-half mile down on the right side at the corner of 72nd street. (The total distance from the 495 exit is 1.5 miles) From Northern New York or The Bronx: Via the Throgs Neck Bridge (recommended) Take the Throgs Neck Bridge onto the Clearview Expressway (295) South. Proceed 3 miles to exit 4W (495 West) towards Manhattan. Continue on 495 West for 4.6 miles to the Queens Blvd. exit (exit 19). Follow the exit ramp onto the Queens Blvd. service road. Proceed through the first traffic light. There will be an entrance off of the left lane into the main road of Queens Blvd. Enter onto the main road. Exit to the left at the 6th traffic light - "51st Avenue / Hillyer Street" and proceed straight onto 51st Avenue. Darik is located one-half mile down on the right side at the corner of 72nd street. (The total distance from the 495 exit is 1.3 miles) Via the Triboro Bridge (not recommended) Take the Triboro Bridge to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (278). Keep right on 278 off the bridge as the truck route follows the service road for a few blocks. Proceed back onto 278 for 3.9 miles and take exit # 35E (495 Eastern LI). Continue to follow signs for 495. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Greenpoint Avenue and make another immediate left onto Borden Avenue. Merge onto 495 East and stay in the right lanes for 2.7 miles. Take exit 19. Exit at Queens Blvd., and turn left at the traffic light. After making left, proceed through the first traffic light. There will be an entrance off of the left lane to the main road of Queens Blvd. Enter onto the main road. Exit to the left at the 6th traffic light - "51st Avenue / Hillyer Street". At the light, make a left onto 51st Avenue. Darik is located one-half mile down on the right side at the corner of 72nd street. (The total distance from the 495 exit is 1.5 miles) From New Jersey or South: Take the New Jersey Turnpike exit 13 to the Goethals Bridge. Follow route 278 to the Verrazano Narrows Bridge and cross to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (278) East. Take 278 to the Long Island Expressway (495) East exit (approximately 16 miles). Take the Long Island Expressway (495) to exit 19. Exit at Queens Blvd., and turn left at the traffic light. After making left, proceed through the first traffic light. There will be an entrance off of the left lane to the main road of Queens Blvd. Enter onto the main road. Exit to the left at the 6th traffic light - "51st Avenue / Hillyer Street".
